Book Inga
Inga Orth — Farmer. Cheesemaker. Mental Health Advocate. Truth-Teller.
I’m Inga, a fourth-generation dairy farmer, licensed Wisconsin cheesemaker, and co-owner of St. Isidore’s Dairy. For years, I was the host of a national farm-to-table television series. On camera, it looked like I was living the dream. Behind the scenes? I was silently unraveling.
Burnout, people-pleasing, and unhealed family patterns nearly took me down. I had to step away from the life I’d built to finally figure out who I really was — and what I wanted to fight for.
Now, I speak honestly and unapologetically about mental health, boundaries, and burnout in rural life. Whether I’m talking to farmers, small business owners, or anyone carrying too much for too long — I bring humor, honesty, and hope.
If you’re looking for a speaker who can hold both grit and grace — and help people feel seen while encouraging real change — let’s talk.

4. The Salad That Brought Me Back From Burnout
A cooking and wellness class centered on food as self-respect.
This is part demo, part storytelling, part emotional wellness class. We’ll make a seasonal lentil salad together—something your team can prep and sample out to attendees—and I’ll share how cooking Whole Foods wasn’t just healthy, it was the start of me reclaiming joy, energy, and my sense of self after years of burnout.
This is an event rooted in simplicity, story, and accessibility. I talk about real-life burnout recovery, how food became a lifeline, and why it matters to slow down and feed ourselves like we matter.
What I Bring:
A 45–60 minute class with demo, storytelling, and Q&A
A customizable lentil salad recipe that’s adaptable to what’s in season and what your co-op carries
A printout or takeaway for attendees
An honest, heartfelt look at how we can come home to ourselves, one spoonful at a time
What You Provide:
Ingredients + prep for the lentil salad
A space for class + light setup (I don’t need anything fancy!)
Samples for attendees (optional but recommended)
